Happiness

I got asked today if I was happy.  At first I thought that was a no-brainer, of course I'm happy what do I have to be unhappy about? But then I began wondering, do I seem like I am an unhappy person?

I mean everyday I am going through the motions dead-set on my schedule and may not seem too excited about it, but that doesn't mean I'm unhappy.  I go to class, go to work, come home, eat, and do homework everyday.  I've realized that I don't ever embrace the ordinary, everyday things that happen in my life.  I live in this beautiful world, I'm surrounded by family and friends that I would do anything for, I go to the school of my dreams, and I am loved by a God who has given be the world.

I've realized that although I may get bored of going through the motions, I need to embrace every second of this life that I have been given because it won't last forever.  I want to be one of those people who are so outwardly happy that people become instantly happier after talking to me.
